You may not be aware but the Virtual Dementia Tour is taking part in a study being conducted by three universities (University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University and University of Bradford) which is being commissioned by the Department of Health, Skills for Care and Skills for Health to research the effectiveness of dementia education and training in the UK, funded by the department of education.
Taking part in the study involves asking people who have attended the Virtual Dementia Tour to complete a survey which will take approximately 20 minutes of your time.
The Survey is independent of the VDT and is sent directly to the universities and It can be completed anonymously. We would be incredibly grateful if you could take the time to complete the study in relation to what you have learnt from experiencing the VDT. The information you provide could help shape the study and best practice guidance in dementia training in the future. Please follow the link below:

We would appreciate it if you could complete it at your earliest convenience as the survey cut-off date is 20th June 2016.
When you complete the survey, you will also be given the opportunity to win an i-Pad as a thank you for taking the survey and could help the Virtual Dementia Tour towards our ultimate goal of becoming mandatory training for the care industry.
I would like to thank you again for the support you have given this amazing training.
